Parent and Teacher Guide

What is Montessori?

Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 1900s, the Montessori method is built on respect for a child's natural curiosity, independence, and ability to learn through hands-on experience.

Montessori-inspired toys are simple, tactile, and connected to the real world. No flashing lights. No constant noise. Just hands-on discovery that lets a child become the active participant in their own learning.
